Hipnotic Bellydance offers on-going classes at the Clearview Centre, 3 Clearview Terrace, Seven Hills/Morningside. The studios have air-conditioning, full length mirrors and wooden floors. The venue is close to Morningside train station and bus- stops (next to TAFE), plus there is a car-park in front. Classes are are organized into terms which are roughly the length of the school terms. Fees are $13.00/$12.00 conc.(unemployed/student) per class and are payable in advance at the commencement of a term. It is possible to join part way through a term, in which case the remaining classes in the term need to be paid in advance i.e. if there are 3 weeks left then the student pays 3 x $13.00 = $39.00. If you miss a class, you can make the class up at another session during the same term. Students wishing to attend more than one class per week pay $10.00 for the additional class, or $20.00 per week for 2 classes if paying for both classes in advance. NEW! 5 class casual rate card. For those students who find it difficult to make classes regularly due to work commitments, there is now the option of a 5 class card. The classes can be used at any class during the term in which the card is purchased. Cards cost $80.00/ $75.00 concession. Please note: this is the only option for students wishing to attend classes on a semi-casual basis and paying by the term is still the most economical option. Please note: Tamara is away in Egypt from the 30th October to the 1st December. There will be substitute teachers taking the classes, but new bookings will have to wait until Tamara's return. As you progress there will be some additional needs, such as veils, finger cymbals (zils), canes, depending on the style of dance we are learning. Costumes may be required for students wishing to perform at a later stage, but for class it is best to wear comfortable clothing, such as exercise pants or skirts and comfortable tops. No shoes are needed and I will provide hip-scarves, unless you choose to bring your own.
